The Good mEdicine Roadmap

The embodiment of true health is when body, mind and spirit are working together in harmony and in balance. When you address and heal the nervous system you are also healing the emotional body, when you heal the emotional body you are also healing the psychic body. When you heal the psychic body you heal and elevate your vibration. Once you have healed your vibration realities shift..

Reclaim Your Sovereignty

The Sacred Opening

Marie, you are in one of the most powerful and delicate thresholds of a woman’s life. Conception and implantation are not random. They are the result of a precise weaving of your physical body, your emotional field, your ancestral line, and the spirit of this child choosing you as their home.

In shamanic understanding, a pregnancy does not come through a body that cannot hold it. Life does not enter a vessel that is not capable. The very fact that this child has anchored into your womb means that your body said yes in the deepest way. Your womb opened. Your blood softened. Your immune system quieted. Your spirit made space. Something in you aligned with something in this child, and the two of you have already begun to create a field of safety and belonging together.

Implantation is not just a biological event. It is a spiritual commitment between mother and child. It is the moment when the soul decides to stay. It is the moment your body shifts into protection mode. Your hormones, your breath, your pulse, your energetic boundaries, your dreams, your emotions. Everything within you begins to reorganize around one truth. Life is here.

This is why the first weeks can feel so intense. Your body is working harder than you can see. Your womb is building the foundation that will hold your baby for the months ahead. Your spirit is stretching to make room. Your nervous system is trying to understand that you are safe enough for this new beginning.

And you are.

You are safe enough.

You are strong enough.

You are capable enough.

You are ready, even if your mind still feels afraid.

It is normal to feel fear when you have walked through loss before. Your body remembers what came before. Your heart remembers. But memory is not prophecy. This pregnancy is not the last one. This is a new soul, a new beginning, and a new chapter in your motherhood.

Right now, our work together is simple. We stabilize. We fortify. We nurture. We protect. We help your body feel safe enough to continue holding this pregnancy. We support your hormones, your minerals, your blood sugar, your emotions, and your energy field so your body does not have to carry this alone. You are not walking into this pregnancy unsupported. You are being held from every direction. Your womb is already doing her job beautifully. Your body is responding exactly as it needs to. Your spirit is rising to meet this moment.

You can exhale now.

Life is here.

And you are ready.

First Trimester Supplemental Protocol

Marie, everything in this protocol is designed to support your body with gentleness, steadiness, and protection during these first weeks of pregnancy. This is not a time for cleansing or detoxification. This is a time for nourishment, stabilization, and deep support for your body as it builds the foundations for your baby. Below you will find the supplements we will be using, why we are choosing them, and how they support your pregnancy. Each one has been selected to keep your system calm, grounded, and safe.

What You Will Be Taking

1. Reishi Supreme (Continuing from Foundations)

Dose: 1 capsule daily

Why: Reishi is one of the safest supportive mushrooms for pregnancy. It helps regulate your immune system, calm inflammation, soften stress responses, and keep your nervous system grounded. Your body is doing enormous work right now, and Reishi supports that work without stimulating detox pathways or overwhelming your system.

2. Seeking Health Optimal Prenatal

This is your core foundation. It provides the vital nutrients needed for early pregnancy, including folate, choline, methylated B vitamins, minerals, and gentle iron. These nutrients support implantation, placental development, neural tube formation, hormone balance, and energy production.

How to take it for the next 2 weeks:

• 2 capsules with breakfast

• 2 capsules with lunch

This slower introduction keeps your stomach calm and helps your body adjust with ease.

After 2 weeks:

If you feel comfortable and supported, increase to the full dose:

• 4 capsules with breakfast

• 4 capsules with lunch

If this ever feels too strong, we can adjust the dosing schedule to keep your body comfortable.

3. Nordic Naturals Prenatal DHA

Dose: 2 soft gels daily with food

Why: DHA is essential for early nervous system and brain formation in your baby. It also supports your mood, reduces inflammation, and helps stabilize your emotional and hormonal landscape. DHA is especially important in pregnancies following loss because it supports both the maternal and fetal nervous systems in a very gentle, protective way.

4. Magnesium Glycinate (Continuing from Foundations)

Dose: 1 capsule with dinner

Why: Magnesium supports sleep, digestion, blood sugar stability, muscle relaxation, and nervous system regulation. It is one of the most important minerals during pregnancy and will help prevent constipation and nighttime tension.

5. Enzyme Benefits (DaVinci Labs) (Continuing from foundations)

Dose: 1 capsule with your largest meal of the day

Why: Early pregnancy can make digestion slower and more sensitive. This enzyme blend helps you break down your food with ease, reduces bloating and nausea, and lessens the digestive load on your body.

What We Are Discontinuing

Tulsi Supreme

This herb can gently influence cortisol and hormonal rhythms. Your body needs steadiness and predictability right now, so we are removing Tulsi to keep your hormonal field stable as first trimester progresses

What is happening in your Body, Mind and Spirit

in the First Tirmester

Marie, this section is here to help you understand exactly what is happening inside your body as your baby grows through each week of this first trimester. Pregnancy can feel mysterious, especially the earliest weeks when you cannot see or feel anything on the outside. But inside your womb, life is forming with incredible precision and sacred intelligence.

Every week of this trimester has its own rhythm, its own developmental focus, and its own energetic signature. From the moment sperm touched egg, your body has been in an ongoing dialogue with your baby, adjusting hormones, shifting your immune system, expanding your blood supply, and preparing the womb as a safe home. The biological processes unfolding inside of you are matched by powerful spiritual and vibrational changes as well. In shamanic understanding, each phase of early pregnancy carries its own field of energy, protection, and soul-level weaving.

Below is your roadmap.

A simple guide that shows what your baby is doing, how your body is responding, and what is happening in the unseen realms as you move through these sacred early weeks.

Week by Week: Science & Spirit

Every week of this trimester is marked by incredible transformation. Your baby is growing at a pace that will never again be matched in their life. Your body is shifting in ways seen and unseen to protect, nourish, and stabilize this new life.

You are doing everything right.

Your body knows what to do.

Your baby is strong.

You are supported by both biology and spirit.

  • (Before conception is confirmed)

    Biologically:

You are not technically pregnant yet, but your body is preparing. Hormones begin rising after ovulation, your uterine lining thickens, and your cervical mucus shifts to allow conception.

    Energetically:

This is the field of invitation. Your womb softens, opens, and quiets. The spirit of your baby may already be circling you, waiting for the right moment. There is a subtle shift in your intuition.

    Shamanic View:

    This is the doorway.

You are being aligned for the meeting.

  • Biologically:

Sperm meets egg. A new genetic blueprint is created. The fertilized egg, now called a zygote, begins dividing rapidly while traveling down the fallopian tube. By the end of this week, it is a blastocyst preparing for implantation.

    Energetically:

The moment of conception creates a spark of light. This is the child’s soul touching Earth. Your field begins to shift immediately even if you feel nothing yet.

    Shamanic View:

This is the soul choosing its mother. The agreement is made.

  • Biologically:

The blastocyst reaches the uterus and burrows into the lining. This is when pregnancy truly begins. Cells begin forming the placenta and the early embryo.

    Energetically:

Implantation is the anchoring. The baby merges with your blood supply, and your immune system softens to allow them to stay. This is why you may feel tired, emotional, or unusually sensitive.

    Shamanic View:

The child enters the womb temple. The cord of connection forms

  • Biologically:

The neural tube forms. This will become the brain and spinal cord. The heart begins to take shape. Placental development increases. Hormones rise sharply.

    Energetically:

You may feel fatigue or emotional shifts as your energy is rerouted toward creation.

    Shamanic View:

This is the week of becoming. The soul begins weaving itself into form.

  • Biologically:

The baby’s tiny heart begins to beat. Circulation starts. Facial features, limb buds, and the first organs begin forming.

    Energetically:

A new vibration now lives within you. Many women feel a sudden intensity, an inner pull, or a deep quiet.

    Shamanic View:

The baby’s heart song begins. Two heart fields exist in one body.

  • Biologically:

The brain is rapidly dividing. The liver, kidneys, stomach, and lungs begin forming. The umbilical cord develops further.

    Energetically:

Your body demands rest. Hormonal levels are high. You may feel nausea or emotional waves. This is not weakness. It is your body protecting your baby by slowing you down.

    Shamanic View:

The mother enters the sacred cocoon. Your energy turns inward to protect life.

  • Biologically:

Your baby’s organs continue forming. Fingers and toes begin budding. The placenta deepens its connection to you. Nerve pathways multiply rapidly.

    Energetically:

This is a growth spurt week. Your hunger, fatigue, or nausea may intensify. It is simply your body increasing fuel for the baby.

    Shamanic View:

Life quickens. The womb fire grows stronger

  • Biologically:

Your baby begins tiny, spontaneous movements. Joints form. Eyelids develop. The heart becomes more coordinated.

    Energetically:

You may not feel these movements yet, but your field picks up the baby’s increased activity. Dreams may become more vivid.

    Shamanic View:

The spirit begins exploring its new form. Curiosity awakens.

  • Biologically:

The baby’s organs are now formed and beginning to function. The head is large because the brain is growing so quickly. The placenta is preparing to take over most support functions.

    Energetically:

Your body starts shifting toward more stability. Some symptoms may ease.

    Shamanic View:

The early vulnerability is lifting. The child is settling into its physical journey

  • Biologically:

Bones begin to harden. The diaphragm forms. Hair follicles appear. The baby opens and closes tiny fingers.

    Energetically:

Your womb is growing. Blood volume is increasing. You may feel more grounded and more aware that you are carrying life.

    Shamanic View:

This is the week of embodiment. The soul is rooting more deeply.

  • Biologically:

The placenta becomes fully active. Your baby is now moving freely. Reflexes appear. Vital systems are operating.

    Energetically:

This is often when fear begins to soften. Your body feels more supported. The early architecture phase is complete.

    Shamanic View:

The sacred threshold is crossed. Creation has stabilized. The next phase begins.

Food Is The Medicine

One of the most important things you can do for yourself and your baby right now is nourish your body with steadiness, intention, and love. During the first trimester, your baby does not need perfection. They need consistency. Your body is building the foundation for an entire human being, and the nutrients you consume become the architecture of your baby’s brain, spinal cord, organs, hormones, and nervous system.

Food is not just fuel.

Food is structure.

Food is information.

Food is medicine.

Every bite you take signals to your nervous system that you are safe, supported, and resourced enough to carry life. When you eat consistently, your body receives the message:

“I have what I need. It is safe to build.”

That message alone is deeply protective in pregnancy, especially after a history of loss.

The Rhythm of Food For First Trimester: Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Every Day

Your most important assignment right now is simple: Eat breakfast. Eat lunch. Eat dinner. Every single day.

This rhythm regulates your blood sugar, stabilizes your hormones, calms your nervous system, and signals safety to your womb. Consistent eating is one of the strongest ways to support early placental development and reduce stress on your body. Your body is working harder than you can see. Regular meals give it the strength it needs to continue that work with stability and ease.

What To Focus On

Make your meals spacious, nourishing, and built on whole foods. Nothing needs to be complicated. Think grounding. Think strengthening. Think stable.

Proteins

Your baby is made of protein.

Protein supports tissue formation, hormone production, blood sugar stability, and your baby’s expanding nervous system.

Aim to include protein at every meal. Examples include eggs, poultry, beef, lentils, nuts, seeds, and Greek yogurt if you tolerate dairy.

Healthy Fats

Healthy fats fuel brain and nervous system development, support your placenta, and stabilize your hormones. Good options include avocado, olive oil, nuts, seeds, eggs, and fatty fish.

Nutrient-Dense Carbohydrates

Carbs support energy, blood sugar stability, and thyroid function, all essential in pregnancy. Choose foods like potatoes, rice, oats, quinoa, and fruit.

Vitamin C Rich Foods

Vitamin C helps your body absorb iron from food, strengthens connective tissue, supports your immune system, and protects early pregnancy. Include berries, citrus, bell peppers, kiwi, and leafy greens.

Colorful Fruits and Vegetables

Each color carries a different set of antioxidants, minerals, and micronutrients. Eat the rainbow whenever you can. These foods support everything from fetal organ formation to your own cellular repair.

Eating for Coherence and Geometry

From an energetic perspective, everything you eat becomes part of the blueprint your baby is building from. Your food becomes your baby’s geometry. Your minerals become their bones. Your proteins become their organs. Your healthy fats become the architecture of their brain. Your greens become their blood. You are eating not just for nourishment, but for coherence. The more grounded and whole your foods are, the more grounded and whole the messages are that your body sends to your baby. Your meals do not need to be perfect. They need to be present. They need to be consistent. They need to feel loving rather than stressful.

If You Experience Nausea

Nausea in the first trimester is incredibly common. It is not a sign of anything being wrong. It is your body responding to rising hormones and your placenta beginning to form. But even with nausea, your body still needs fuel.

A few things to remember:

• Small meals are better than no meals.

• Eating a little something every 2 to 3 hours can help.

• Protein first thing in the morning often reduces nausea later on.

• Smoothies, soups, and simple meals are perfect.

• Do not wait until you feel hungry. Eat before hunger hits.

• Ginger or B6 can naturally ease nausea if needed.

And most importantly, do not judge yourself.

Nausea is not a failure.

Your only job is to keep your body gently fueled. That is enough.

Why Nourishment Matters So Much For You

Given your history and your sensitive system, your body needs consistent nourishment now more than ever. Eating regularly supports:

• hormone balance

• blood sugar stability

• nervous system regulation

• early placental development

• iron absorption

• fetal brain formation

• maternal emotional steadiness

This is not fear. This is empowerment. Food is your ally. It is stabilizing, grounding, and deeply supportive of the life growing inside you. You are doing an extraordinary job. Your body knows how to hold this baby. Nourishment is how you partner with that wisdom.

High Risk Foods To Avoid Entirely

1. Raw or Undercooked Seafood Sushi, raw oysters, ceviche, and any fish that is not fully cooked can carry bacteria or parasites. Your baby’s developing immune system cannot handle these exposures right now.

2. Raw or Undercooked Meat and Poultry This includes rare steaks or undercooked chicken. Fully cooked meats protect you from harmful bacteria.

3. Deli Meats and Cold Cuts (unless heated) If you want deli meats, they must be heated until steaming. This reduces the risk of listeria, which can harm pregnancy.

4. Unpasteurized Dairy or Soft Cheeses Avoid unpasteurized milk, raw milk cheeses, Brie, Camembert, queso fresco, and blue cheese unless the label clearly says pasteurized.

5. High Mercury Fish Avoid swordfish, king mackerel, tilefish, marlin, shark, and ahi tuna. Mercury can harm fetal nervous system development.

Safe fish include salmon, cod, sardines, tilapia, trout.

Foods to Limit or Use Caution With

1. Caffeine Moderate amounts are safe, but keep caffeine under 200 mg per day. If you are highly sensitive, go even lower.

2. Herbal Teas or Supplements Not Tested for Pregnancy Do not take any new herbs without checking with me first. Early pregnancy is highly sensitive to botanicals.

3. Excessive Sugar and Processed Foods Not because they are inherently dangerous, but because they destabilize blood sugar and stress the nervous system. Stable blood sugar is one of the strongest protections for early pregnancy.

4. Artificial Sweeteners Avoid things like aspartame, sucralose, and diet products. These increase inflammation and disrupt gut balance.

5. Highly Processed Oils Vegetable oils, soybean oil, canola oil, and cottonseed oil increase inflammation and oxidative stress. Choose olive oil, avocado oil, butter, or coconut oil instead.

Foods That Can Create Inflammation or Digestive Stress Your system is sensitive, and we want to avoid anything that adds unnecessary burden.

• Fried foods

• Fast foods

• Dyes and artificial additives

• Highly spicy foods if they cause nausea

• Large amounts of gluten if it causes bloating or fatigue

• Foods that you know do not agree with your body

This is not about perfection.

It is about reducing inflammation so your body can use its energy to support your baby.

Substances to Avoid Completely

• Alcohol

• Nicotine

• Recreational drugs

• Any detox teas, cleanses, or herbal purges

• Liver detox supplements

• Parasite cleanses

• Sauna or heat-based therapies that raise core temperature

Your body is in a state of creation, not clearing. We protect that state.

A Gentle Reminder

This section is not here to restrict you. It is here to protect you. Every guideline is rooted in both science and sacred care for the life growing within you. Your body is doing extraordinary work, and removing these foods simply keeps the environment inside your womb as stable and safe as possible. You are not expected to be perfect. You are expected to be present. Your baby does not need perfection to thrive. They need you nourished, supported, and resourced. You are doing that beautifully.

The other Pillars of First Trimester Health

Marie, nourishment is one of the most important foundations of early pregnancy, but there are three other pillars that your body depends on just as deeply during this trimester. Because you have walked through loss before, your nervous system may be carrying layers of vigilance, fear, or tension. These pillars help your body shift out of survival mode and into creation mode. They help your womb soften, your hormones stabilize, and your energy return to coherence.

These are not complicated practices. They are simple anchors that support your safety, your baby’s development, and your emotional and physical wellbeing.

1.Stress Management: Shifting the Body Into Safety

Stress in early pregnancy is not about avoiding difficult feelings. It is about helping your nervous system feel supported enough to hold life. Chronic fear, high cortisol, and emotional overwhelm can cause the body to tighten and conserve rather than open and nourish. Because you have a history of loss, your nervous system may naturally go into hyperawareness. There is nothing wrong with you. This is your body trying to protect you.

Our goal is to gently guide your system back into calm.

Supportive practices include:

• deep, slow breathing (4x4x4)

• grounding exercises

• speaking gently to yourself and your baby

• taking five quiet minutes throughout the day to breathe

• letting your emotions move rather than holding them inside

• eating consistent meals

• giving yourself permission to rest

These practices tell your body: “I am safe. It is safe to hold life.” When your nervous system feels safe, your womb feels safe. And when your womb feels safe, your baby feels safe.

2. Sleep: The Repair and Restoration Window

Sleep is not optional right now. It is one of the most powerful medicines for early pregnancy. While you sleep, your body:

• balances hormones

• repairs cells

• stabilizes blood sugar

• supports early brain development

• clears stress hormones

• builds new uterine and placental tissue

• strengthens your immune system

You may find yourself more tired than usual. This is normal. Your metabolic rate increases in early pregnancy, your blood volume expands, and your placenta is forming. Your body is spending enormous energy, even when you are still.

Aim for:

• 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night

• a consistent bedtime

• a calming nighttime routine

• magnesium before bed to support deep rest

• gentle mornings when possible

Rest is not laziness. Rest is creation. Your body is doing sacred work while you sleep.

3. Movement: Supporting Your Body Without Overexerting

Movement in the first trimester should feel supportive, grounding, and intuitive. You are not trying to push your limits. You are trying to keep blood flow strong, reduce tension, support your lymphatic system, and keep your nervous system open and soft.

Supportive movement includes:

• walking

• stretching

• gentle yoga

• light strength work if your body is used to it

• pelvic floor awareness

• slow, mindful movement

Avoid anything that:

•overheats your body

• causes cramping or dizziness

• is high impact or overly intense

• feels like force or pressure

Movement helps regulate your hormones, improves sleep, stabilizes blood sugar, and reduces nausea. It also supports emotional wellbeing by signaling to your body that you are grounded and connected.

The rule is simple: If it feels supportive and steady, it is right. If it feels draining or stressful, your body is asking for less.

Your Body Is Taking Care of You

Stress management, sleep, and gentle movement are not extra tasks. They are the conditions your body needs to feel safe during this sacred early phase. When your body feels safe, your baby feels safe. When your nervous system is calm, your womb receives the message that it is supported and can continue building with strength.

You are doing enough. Your body knows what to do.

These pillars simply help your system feel held along the way.

Letting Go of Fear, Worry, and Anxiety in Early Pregnancy

Marie, it is completely normal to feel afraid right now. When a woman has walked through loss, her body remembers. Her heart remembers. Her nervous system remembers. Fear is not a sign that something is wrong. Fear is a sign that something sacred is happening. Your body is trying to protect you because it knows how much this matters.

In early pregnancy, fear often rises because the body is shifting so quickly, yet so silently, that the mind struggles to keep up. Your hormones are changing, your womb is building, your spirit is expanding, and your heart is holding both hope and vulnerability at the same time. There is nothing wrong with you for feeling this way. This is the truth of motherhood beginning.

But there is a deeper truth beneath the fear. And this is the truth I want you to anchor into.

If your body, your mind, and your spirit were not ready to hold this baby, this pregnancy would not have come through. Conception does not happen in a body that cannot carry. Implantation does not take place in a womb that is not capable. Souls do not enter homes that cannot support them.

Your baby chose you because you are able. Your body opened because you are ready. Your womb said yes because it knows how to hold life.

Fear may speak loudly, but fear is not the authority here.

Your body is the authority.

Your womb is the authority.

Your spirit is the authority.

Fear is simply energy.

It is a vibration created when the nervous system tries to predict the future in order to avoid hurt. But the future is not being written by fear. The future is being written by your body, your baby, and the life growing inside you.

Our sacred role right now is not to eliminate fear. Our role is to create a field of safety so strong that fear loses its power.

We stabilize your body so your nervous system can soften. We nourish you so your womb feels supported. We strengthen your minerals, your hormones, and your energy so your baby feels held. We fortify your spirit so your body receives the signal: I am safe. I am resourced. I am capable. Life can continue here.

Your fear is not a threat to your pregnancy. Your fear is simply a sign that you love deeply. It is a sign that this matters to you. But beneath the fear is a deeper knowing. Your body knows how to do this. Your womb knows how to hold this baby. Your spirit knows it is time. You are not recreating the past. You are creating something new. And everything within you is rising to support this beginning. When fear comes, place a hand on your womb and speak softly:

“I am safe. My baby is safe. My body knows what to do.”

Let that become the new signal in your field. Your baby is already responding to your steadiness. Your womb is responding to your breath. Your whole body is shifting into its role as mother. You are ready for this, Marie. You are able to hold this life. And you are not walking this path alone.

Daily Safety & Connection Meditation

This meditation is here to help you calm your body, regulate your nervous system, and connect more deeply with yourself and your baby each day. Your system is doing enormous work, and taking ten minutes to breathe, soften, and settle will support both you and your growing child. This practice helps your womb feel safe, which helps your baby feel safe. It strengthens the field around your pregnancy, quiets fear, and reminds your body that it is held, protected, and capable.

You can do this meditation at any time of day.

All you need to do is sit or lie down, place a hand over your heart or your womb, and let your breath bring you home.

Move Gently, Marie. Your Body is alreadly holing what you feared it could not. Trust The stength inside of you. You are safe. Stay grounded, stay steady, stay calm
