What is Hapé?
Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred shamanic snuff medicine made from a finely ground blend of Amazonian tobacco (Mapacho) and other medicinal plants. This medicine is not recreational, it is a prayer. A portal. A sacred breath of the forest spirit offered to human hands by the wisdom keepers of the Amazon.
For thousands of years, Hapé has been used ceremonially by indigenous tribes such as the Yawanawá, Huni Kuin (Kaxinawá), Katukina, and Nukini peoples of Brazil and Peru. Each tribe carries its own unique preparation style, prayer lineage, and purpose for the blends; some used for spiritual protection, others for clarity, grounding, or visionary insight. In their traditions, the medicine is administered with respect, reverence, and intention, often by a pajé (shaman) or practitioner trained in its use.
Hapé is most often administered through the nose using a Tepi (when shared by a facilitator) or a Kuripe (when self-applied). The sacred blow is not violent…it is precise, intentional, and filled with the spirit of the forest. The medicine clears stagnant energy, brings the brain into harmony, rebalances the nervous system, opens the sinuses, and brings the user into deep presence with the Earth and Spirit.
Tobacco, in its pure Mapacho form, is considered a Master Plant Teacher in indigenous cosmology. It is used to cleanse, protect, and call in divine guidance. When combined with other healing plants such as Tsunu, Murici, Cacao, or Pau Pereira, the blend becomes a powerful vibrational ally for healing, prayer, and remembrance.
At this offering, you will not be “using” Hapé.
You will be in ceremony with it.
This is a co-regulated offering with the Earth herself.
We honor the indigenous lineages who stewarded this medicine long before it reached the Western world. We do not claim ownership. We sit in gratitude. And we invite you to do the same.

What To Expect at this Sacred Ceremony
This will be a day of deep connection, with yourself, with the land, and with the sacred medicine of Hapé.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed into a held and intentional space. We’ll begin by gathering in a circle to learn about the origins of Hapé, its traditional ceremonial use among Indigenous tribes of the Amazon, and the ways we honor and steward this sacred medicine today.
You’ll be guided through a grounding practice to prepare your body and spirit for receiving the medicine. When ready, Hapé will be served with intention and care. The ceremony will include spacious time for integration, rest, journaling, and optional reflection.
Following the ceremony, we’ll share a nourishing, seasonal feast… a time to anchor, commune, and celebrate the return to self.
Weather permitting, we’ll close with a fire on the land, releasing what is ready to be transmuted and sending prayers into the night sky.

Who is this for?
This is for the ones who feel it in their bones; the call to return to something ancient, sacred, and true. It’s for those who know the mind cannot always heal what the soul is holding, who sense that real transformation begins not with doing, but with remembering.

We are not here to perform.
We are not here to escape.
This is not a party. This is a prayer.
If you’ve been longing to sit with the Earth in sacred reciprocity; to breathe, purge, listen, and receive -this is your place. This is your moment.

Meet tHE gUARDIANS
Dr. Chelsea Nutt
Dr. Chelsea Nutt is a chiropractor, somatic practitioner, and creator of Resonant Fascia: Vocal and Joint Exploration for Emotional Release, a method that integrates fascial therapy, intentional joint movement, and vocal resonance to unlock deep physical and emotional tension.
With a background in structural and neurological health, Dr. Nutt developed this approach to address what she observed in her patients: that the body holds not only movement patterns but also memories, emotions, and unprocessed experiences within its connective tissues. Her method guides participants through a process of joint exploration and vocal activation, helping the nervous system regulate, expand, and release long‑held tension.
Through her private sessions and workshops, Dr. Nutt creates transformative experiences where sound meets structure, inviting individuals to reclaim flow, presence, and safety within their own bodies. She is dedicated to advancing a more holistic conversation about healing, one that honors the body’s architecture as a profound archive of human experience.

Tabitha Millsop
Tabitha Millsop is a Quantum Energy Healer who relies on deep intuitive guidance to blend multiple modalities, to support clients while they release energetic imbalances, recalibrate their nervous systems, and return to wholeness.
Her journey into helping others heal themselves began with learning to heal herself first. Born with heart disease and having navigated years of chronic illness, Tabitha has spent over two decades mastering the art of personal transformation. A car accident later became the catalyst that propelled her into understanding how to heal the emotional and energetic roots of pain.
Today, Tabitha’s trauma-informed practice is a sanctuary for empaths, caregivers, and heart-centered humans who are ready to feel lighter, clearer, and deeply connected to themselves. Through a powerful fusion of the Body Code, Quantum Reiki, and sound healing, she intuitively listens to the body’s wisdom. Guided by subtle energy, the client's innate self-healing intelligence, and compassionate presence, she creates a safe and supportive space where clients are gently held as they release, restore energetic balance, and return to a grounded sense of wholeness.
Tabitha’s work isn’t just about healing — it’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise, and reclaiming your right to thrive.

FAQs

Yes. Hapé is completely legal and is honored as a sacred, non hallucinogenic plant medicine. It is a smokeless tobacco preparation made primarily from nicotiana rustica (mapacho) and other medicinal plants, traditionally used in ceremony to clear, ground and connect. This offering is for adults 18+ only and is not marketed or administered as a medical treatment. You are entering into a legal, reverent and spirit centered experience.
-
Hapé is generally safe when served in a ceremonial setting by a trained and attuned facilitator. That said, it is a potent plant medicine and may cause temporary physical responses such as nausea, lightheadedness, increased mucus production, or emotional release. These effects are part of the cleansing and clearing process. It is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, or are highly sensitive to tobacco. If you have any medical conditions or are taking prescription medications, please disclose this ahead of time so the ceremony can be approached with the utmost care and safety.
-
Preparation begins with presence. In the 24 hours leading up to ceremony, avoid alcohol, recreational substances, and heavy or processed foods. Arrive well-hydrated, having eaten lightly, and allow yourself time to settle before and after the experience…this is sacred space, not to be rushed.
You will be asked to come with a clear intention. This might be something you’re ready to release, a prayer you’re holding, a question for Spirit, or simply the desire to reconnect more deeply with yourself. Your intention will serve as a guiding thread through the experience, anchoring your process and helping the medicine meet you where you are.
You are welcome to bring a journal, water, or a small item for the space if it feels aligned. Most importantly, bring yourself, open, honest, and willing. The medicine will do the rest.
-
Please bring a blanket or a comfortable folding chair for the evening bonfire, where we’ll gather in shared reflection and warmth after ceremony. You may also wish to bring a water bottle, journal, or a small personal item for the space…something meaningful to you, like a crystal, photo, or sacred object. Wear comfortable clothing and layers, as temperatures may shift. Most importantly, come as you are, with your heart open and your intention held close. Everything else is secondary to your presence.
