Welcome to Longhorn Yoga at the Medicine House, an outdoor yoga experience beneath the open Texas sky, surrounded by trees, horses, birdsong, and, of course, our Texas Longhorn cattle.
This is an invitation to come back into your body, back to your breath, and back to the steadiness of the earth beneath you.
Bull Medicine carries the energy of grounded strength, endurance, protection, presence, and deep rootedness. There’s something powerful about moving beside animals who embody that kind of stillness with such ease. They don’t rush. They don’t perform. They simply occupy their space fully. That is the medicine we bring into this practice.
Rose will guide you through mindful movement, intentional breath, and moments of stillness, with attention to alignment and space for your nervous system to settle. Together, we’ll make room to soften, strengthen, and return to center.
Whether you’ve practiced for years or this is your first time on the mat, you belong here. Come with the body you have today. This flow is open to all levels, and Rose will invite you to move at a pace that feels right for you.
Meet Rose
Rose is a yoga teacher, sound bath practitioner, and mother of three. She loves creating intentional spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and simply be.
Her teaching blends mindful movement, breathwork, and moments of stillness. With a gentle, intuitive approach, Rose encourages students to listen to their bodies and honor where they are in their practice. For Rose, each pose is an opportunity to cultivate awareness, compassion, and connection with yourself. She invites you to step away from the noise of everyday life and return to yourself, one breath at a time.
This is the first Friday in our weekly Longhorn Yoga series with Rose. Each class will have its own event listing.
Bring your yoga mat and water, and come move your body beneath the open sky.
The longhorns will be waiting.
