Resonant Fascia & integrative Sound Bath
October 3 | 12:00–2:00 PM | The Medicine House, Aubrey, Texas
There are places in the body that words never quite reach.
Places where stress has become tension. Where protection has become posture. Where experiences we thought we had moved beyond are still being quietly held in the tissues, the breath, the jaw, the shoulders, the hips, the spaces between one movement and the next.
This offering is an immersive afternoon devoted to giving the body another way to let go.
We’ll begin with Resonant Fascia, a nervous-system-centered method that weaves fascia-based release, vocal resonance, breath, and intuitive joint movement. Rather than forcing the body into change, this work creates the conditions for the body to begin unwinding in its own language.
Through vibration, movement, sound, and embodied awareness, we explore the places that have become restricted or guarded and invite greater fluidity back into the system. There is nothing to perform and nowhere your body needs to “get.” This is an opportunity to listen; to notice what has been held beneath the surface and allow the body to soften where it is ready.
From there, we’ll transition into a full-spectrum sound bath integration, allowing the nervous system to settle into what has opened. Crystal frequencies, percussion, voice, and resonance will move through the space while the body rests, giving the work time to integrate without needing to intellectually process it.
Herbal teas will be served throughout the afternoon, creating another sensory thread between body, earth, nervous system, and rest.
This is not about stretching farther, but rather creating enough space inside the body that something no longer needs to hold so tightly.
What Is Fascia?
Fascia is the continuous three-dimensional network of connective tissue that runs throughout the entire body, surrounding and connecting muscles, bones, nerves, blood vessels, and organs. It provides structure and support, helps coordinate movement, and is richly supplied with sensory receptors that continually communicate information about pressure, movement, tension, and position to the nervous system.
Healthy fascia is hydrated, adaptable, and able to glide between structures as we move. But physical injury, repetitive movement, prolonged postures, stress, guarding, and other experiences can contribute to areas of restriction and increased tension within this network.
Because fascia is highly responsive to movement, pressure, breath, and vibration, gentle fascial work can offer the body new sensory input without forcing or overriding its protective responses.
Resonant Fascia brings these elements together through intuitive movement and resonance, creating an opportunity for the body to explore greater mobility, awareness, and ease while supporting the nervous system’s movement toward regulation.
Sometimes what feels like “stuck” does not need to be pushed through.
Sometimes it needs to be heard differently.
