The Good mEdicine Roadmap
The embodiment of true health is when body, mind and spirit are working together in harmony and in balance. When you address and heal the nervous system you are also healing the emotional body, when you heal the emotional body you are also healing the psychic body. When you heal the psychic body you heal and elevate your vibration. Once you have healed your vibration realities shift..
Reclaiming Your Sovereignty
Comprehensive Clinical Summary & Foundational Support Overview
After reviewing your laboratory work in its entirety, I don’t believe we’re looking at one isolated problem. Instead, your labs tell the story of a body that has been under stress for quite some time and is now functioning with very little reserve. Your body is still compensating remarkably well, but several different systems are beginning to show signs that they are working much harder than they should have to.
One of the biggest themes throughout your panel is that your body appears to be under-resourced. This doesn’t necessarily mean you aren’t eating enough food; (although it can) it also means your body doesn’t appear to have enough of the raw materials it needs to build, repair, regulate hormones, support your immune system, and produce energy efficiently.
Blood Cell Production
Your complete blood count does not show evidence of an acute infection or anemia, which is reassuring. However, several of your red blood cell markers sit toward the edges of where I ideally like to see them. While your iron circulating in the bloodstream looks excellent, your iron storage (ferritin) is quite low, suggesting your body has limited iron reserves.
Your vitamin B12 and folate are technically within the laboratory reference range, but neither is particularly robust. Combined with your elevated homocysteine, this suggests your body may not have the nutrient reserves it needs to optimally build healthy red blood cells and support normal methylation pathways.
Rather than pointing toward one single vitamin deficiency, these markers together suggest your body is operating with several marginal nutrient deficiencies occurring at the same time.
Nutrition & Metabolic Reserve
This is the strongest pattern throughout your laboratory work.
Multiple markers, including your protein markers, cholesterol, triglycerides, alkaline phosphatase, ferritin, magnesium, vitamin D, and LDH all suggest that your body has limited nutritional reserve.
Your cholesterol and triglycerides are both lower than I would expect. While many people assume lower cholesterol is always healthier, cholesterol serves as the building block for hormones, cell membranes, vitamin D production, and healthy nervous system function. Your results suggest your body may not have the material availability I would like to see for long-term health.
Your low protein markers reinforce this concern. They raise questions about whether your body is receiving enough protein, whether you’re absorbing nutrients efficiently, or whether your metabolic demands have exceeded what your body has been able to replenish.
This fits very well with the history you shared especially regarding gut upset.
Thyroid Function
Your thyroid panel was very interesting.
Several markers suggest that your thyroid is working toward the slower end of normal, which can contribute to symptoms like fatigue, feeling cold, low energy, and difficulty recovering.
The encouraging news is that your thyroid antibodies are completely normal, meaning I do not see evidence that your immune system is attacking your thyroid, such as we would expect with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis or Graves’ disease.
Your Free T3 and Free T4 remain within healthy ranges, and your Reverse T3 is also reassuring. This tells me your thyroid is still functioning, but it may be adapting to the overall environment of your body rather than being the primary cause of your symptoms.
Vitamin & Mineral Status
Several important nutrient deficiencies stood out.
Your vitamin D level is significantly lower than I would like to see. Vitamin D influences immune function, energy production, hormone balance, mood, inflammation, and bone health. Optimizing this will be an important part of rebuilding your overall physiology.
Your magnesium is also lower than ideal. Magnesium is involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions throughout the body and plays a critical role in muscle function, nervous system regulation, energy production, sleep quality, and blood sugar regulation.
Your elevated homocysteine further supports that your body would likely benefit from improved nutritional support, particularly nutrients involved in methylation such as folate, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, and riboflavin.
Inflammation
One of the most reassuring parts of your laboratory work is that your inflammatory markers are both excellent. Your CRP and ESR are both within ideal ranges, meaning I do not see evidence of significant systemic inflammation at this time. This also makes a widespread autoimmune process much less likely based on the laboratory data we have available today.
Liver & Kidney Function
Your liver enzymes are completely normal, which is encouraging.
Likewise, your urinalysis is remarkably clean, showing no evidence of kidney inflammation, infection, blood loss, or protein leakage.
While some of your metabolic markers suggest your body may be under strain, I do not see evidence of significant liver or kidney strain.
Putting Your Labs Together
When I combine your laboratory findings with the symptoms you described: including fatigue, dizziness, blurry vision, shakiness, diarrhea after eating, feeling cold, heavy menstrual cycles, and your history of recurrent illness I believe your body is telling us a much bigger story than any one lab value alone. The strongest pattern I see is a body that has been under physiologic stress for quite some time and has gradually depleted many of its nutritional reserves.
This does not necessarily mean that undernutrition is the only thing happening. Your history of Lyme disease, prolonged COVID illness, recurrent infections, digestive symptoms, and hormonal changes all deserve consideration. However, your laboratory work strongly suggests that before your body can function optimally, it first needs to rebuild the foundation.
My Clinical Impression
At this point, I believe our priorities should include:
Rebuilding your nutritional reserves, particularly protein intake and overall caloric sufficiency.
Correcting your low vitamin D, magnesium, and iron stores.
Supporting healthy methylation through targeted B-vitamin support.
Improving digestive function and nutrient absorption.
Continuing to evaluate whether your gastrointestinal symptoms are contributing to nutrient depletion.
Monitoring your thyroid as your overall physiology improves rather than assuming primary thyroid disease.
One additional point I’d like us to continue paying attention to is your episodes of blurry vision, dizziness, and feeling as though you might faint. While these symptoms may be related to under fueling, dehydration, or changes in your autonomic nervous system following repeated illness, I do not want to dismiss them. If they persist, worsen, or become associated with actual fainting, chest pain, severe headaches, or persistent visual changes, I would recommend further medical evaluation to ensure there is not another underlying neurologic, cardiovascular, or ophthalmologic cause contributing to your symptoms.
Overall, I believe your laboratory work is encouraging because it does not point toward significant organ damage or active autoimmune disease. Instead, it suggests that your body has been surviving on limited reserves for some time. The encouraging part is that this is a pattern that is often highly responsive to improving nutrition, restoring key nutrient deficiencies, supporting digestive health, and giving the body the resources it needs to heal.
A reminder, I base Blood Chemistry results on optimal ranges developed in Functional Medicine, Labcorp utilizes reference ranges in Conventional Medicine, these ranges are overly broad and represent the averages of the general population. This is a problem because the average American is not in good health.
Foundational Support Protocol
Phase One: Nervous System, Gut & Immune Stabilization
Rather than overwhelming your body with a large number of supplements, I want to begin by rebuilding your foundation. Your laboratory work suggests that your body has been operating under stress for quite some time and is functioning with limited nutritional and physiologic reserves. The goal of this first phase is to support your immune system, digestive health, nervous system, and cellular function while giving your body the resources it needs to recover.
This protocol is designed to be gentle, restorative, and supportive.
Drainage Essentials
Dose: 1 capsule daily
Before asking the body to repair, it’s important that its natural detoxification and drainage pathways are functioning well. Drainage Essentials provides gentle support for the lymphatic system, liver, kidneys, and connective tissues, helping your body process and eliminate normal metabolic waste efficiently.
This is not an aggressive detoxification product. Instead, it helps create an environment where healing can occur more comfortably and efficiently.
Reishi Supreme
Dose: 2 capsules every evening
Reishi is one of my favorite medicinal mushrooms because of its ability to gently regulate the immune system while also supporting the nervous system and helping the body recover from chronic stress and illness.
Given your history of Lyme disease, prolonged COVID infection, recurrent illnesses, and ongoing fatigue, Reishi provides gentle immune modulation rather than simply stimulating the immune system. It also supports healthy sleep, recovery, resilience, and the body’s ability to adapt to stress.
BodyBio PC
Dose: 1 softgel daily with food
Every cell in your body is surrounded by a membrane made primarily of phospholipids. These membranes are essential for healthy communication between cells, energy production, liver function, hormone signaling, and nervous system health.
BodyBio PC provides the building blocks needed to repair and strengthen those cellular membranes. Supporting healthy cell membranes can improve your body’s ability to heal, regulate inflammation, and produce energy more efficiently over time.
MegaIgG
Dose: 2 capsules daily
Your digestive symptoms and laboratory findings suggest that your gut may benefit from additional support.
MegaIgG contains specialized immunoglobulins that help bind unwanted microbial byproducts within the digestive tract while supporting the integrity of the intestinal lining. It helps calm the gut environment, supports healthy digestion, and promotes a stronger intestinal barrier without disrupting the beneficial bacteria that live in your microbiome.
Because so much of the immune system resides within the digestive tract, improving gut health often has positive effects throughout the entire body.
Magnesium Glycinate (Pure Encapsulations)
Dose: 2 capsules every evening
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions throughout the body and plays an important role in muscle function, nervous system regulation, sleep quality, energy production, and healthy blood sugar balance.
Your laboratory work suggests that your magnesium status could be improved, and replenishing this important mineral may help support your energy, recovery, muscle tension, sleep quality, and overall nervous system function.
Magnesium glycinate is a highly absorbable form that is gentle on the digestive system.
Homocysteine Factors (Pure Encapsulations)
Dose: 1 capsule daily with breakfast
Your laboratory work showed an elevated homocysteine level along with vitamin B12 and folate levels that, while technically within the laboratory reference range, are not as robust as I would like to see.
Homocysteine Factors provides the active forms of several B vitamins that support healthy methylation; a process your body relies on for energy production, detoxification, DNA repair, nervous system function, and healthy cardiovascular health.
Rather than replacing a single nutrient, this formula supports the entire methylation pathway and helps provide your body with the resources it needs to function more efficiently.
Zinc 30 (Pure Encapsulations)
Dose: 1 capsule every other day with food
Zinc is an essential mineral involved in immune function, skin health, hormone production, wound healing, thyroid physiology, and hundreds of enzymatic reactions throughout the body.
Several aspects of your laboratory work, combined with your history of recurrent infections and ongoing cystic acne, suggest that increasing your zinc intake may be beneficial.
We are choosing to supplement every other day to provide gentle support while minimizing the risk of taking more than your body currently needs.
Moving Forward
This first phase of your protocol is focused on restoring the foundation rather than aggressively chasing symptoms. My goal is to give your body the nutrients and support it needs to improve cellular health, strengthen immune resilience, support digestion, and replenish key nutritional reserves.
As your body begins to recover, we will continue to monitor your progress, reassess your symptoms, and determine whether any additional targeted support is needed. Healing is rarely about one supplement or one laboratory marker, it is about creating an internal environment where your body has the resources to do what it was designed to do.
All supplements except for MegaIGG will be sent to your email for purchase via my supplement store. MegaIGG can be purchased online via this link:

A meditation To Return To Trust
Nutrition Recommendations
One of the strongest patterns I see throughout both your laboratory work and your health history is that your body simply isn’t receiving enough of the nutrients it needs to function optimally.
This isn’t about willpower or eating “perfectly.” Instead, I believe your body has been functioning with limited nutritional reserves for quite some time. Some of that may be related to food intake, while some may also be related to your digestive symptoms. Frequent loose stools and stomach upset can significantly reduce your body’s ability to absorb the nutrients you’re consuming, meaning that even if you’re making healthy food choices, your body may not be receiving everything it needs.
Because of that, nutrition will be one of the most important parts of your healing plan.
Our goal is DEEP nourishment.
Prioritize Protein
One of the biggest changes I’d like you to make is to begin eating breakfast every morning.
Ideally, I’d like you to eat within one hour of waking and build your breakfast around a substantial source of protein. After an overnight fast, your body is looking for the nutrients it needs to stabilize blood sugar, support hormone production, and begin producing energy for the day.
Aim to include approximately 30 grams of protein at breakfast, with additional protein included at each meal throughout the day.
Examples include:
Eggs
Greek yogurt (if tolerated)
Cottage cheese
Chicken or turkey
Lean beef
Smoked salmon
Protein smoothies made with high-quality ingredients
Protein will be one of the most important tools we have to help rebuild your nutritional reserves.
Focus on Whole Foods
Rather than following a restrictive diet, I want you to focus on eating foods that are as close to their natural form as possible.
Think foods that have one ingredient rather than a long list of ingredients.
Build your meals around:
High-quality proteins
Colorful vegetables
Fresh fruit
Healthy fats
Whole-food carbohydrates
Legumes
Nuts and seeds
I want your meals to be nourishing, satisfying, and diverse.
One phrase I often tell my clients is to “eat the rainbow.” Different colored fruits and vegetables provide different vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients, so the more variety you eat throughout the week, the more complete your nutritional intake becomes.
Mediterranean Principles
Rather than following a ketogenic or highly restrictive diet, I would like you to use a Mediterranean-style approach to eating.
This means emphasizing:
Lean proteins
Fish and seafood
Olive oil
Avocados
Nuts and seeds
Fruits
Vegetables
Beans and legumes
Whole grains that you tolerate well
This approach provides your body with the broad spectrum of nutrients it needs without unnecessarily restricting important food groups.
Reduce Processed Foods
Whenever possible, try to minimize foods that are heavily processed.
This includes:
Fast food
Packaged snack foods
Highly processed convenience meals
Foods with long ingredient lists
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s simply to choose whole, nutrient-dense foods as often as possible.
Limit Caffeine
Because your body already appears to be under significant physiologic stress, I’d like to reduce the amount of stimulation we’re asking it to rely on each day.
One cup of coffee in the morning is perfectly reasonable.
If you’d like additional caffeine later in the day, an afternoon tea is also appropriate.
For now, I would recommend eliminating energy drinks such as Celsius. While they can temporarily increase energy, they often place additional demands on an already depleted nervous system and can contribute to fluctuations in hydration, cortisol, and blood sugar regulation.
Our goal is to help your body create energy rather than borrow it.
Increase Hydration
Some of your laboratory markers, along with your symptoms of dizziness and lightheadedness, suggest that hydration may be playing a role in how you’re feeling.
Aim to drink water consistently throughout the day rather than trying to catch up later in the afternoon or evening.
I would also like you to include an electrolyte supplement daily to help support fluid balance and maintain healthy mineral status, particularly if you’re continuing to experience loose stools.
Minimize Seed Oils
Whenever possible, choose healthier sources of dietary fat.
Favor:
Extra virgin olive oil
Avocado oil
Avocados
Nuts
Seeds
Fatty fish
Try to minimize highly processed seed oils commonly found in packaged foods and restaurant meals, including soybean, corn, cottonseed, sunflower, safflower, and canola oils.
Our Goal
To convince your body that it has access to the nutrients, protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals it needs to heal. Every nourishing meal becomes an opportunity to rebuild your reserves, support your immune system, stabilize your energy, and restore your body’s confidence that it no longer has to operate in survival mode.
Healing begins by providing your body with the resources it has been asking for.
