The Good Medicine Roadmap
Detox Phase 1: Parasites
Parasites are not just physical invaders, they are energetic trespassers that thrive in environments of stagnation, suppression and unprocessed emotion. True detox clears them from the body and from the field; addressing the physical, emotional, mental and vibrational layers they infiltrate.
The PHysical Terrian
Parasites are not just rare tropical invaders. They are far more common than we’ve been taught to believe; thriving in environments of chronic stress, poor gut health, sugar-heavy diets, toxic exposure, and unresolved trauma. You can contract parasites through food, water, soil, pets, travel, sexual contact, unwashed produce, and even inherited through the maternal line.
Most people carry them for years…or even decades without knowing it.
Once inside the body, parasites can hide in tissues, biofilms, and even organs. They release neurotoxins, steal nutrients, excrete waste into the bloodstream, and manipulate the nervous system to keep you craving the foods and emotional states that sustain them. They are expert survivalists; forming protective mucus layers, embedding into the gut wall, or hiding in deeper systems like the brain, liver, gallbladder, lymphatic system, and even the reproductive organs. they can reside in the uterus, ovaries, prostate, and vaginal canal, where they contribute to:
Chronic yeast infections
Persistent discharge
Fertility challenges
Hormonal dysregulation
Pelvic congestion
Erectile Dysfunction and Prostate issues
Pain or numbness in the womb or sacral space
Unexplained mood swings tied to the cycle
They can also lodge in joints, muscle tissue, sinus cavities, and even behind the eyes; anywhere your immune system is suppressed or stagnant.
Some Common Signs of Parasite Overload
Bloating, constipation, diarrhea, or inconsistent bowels
Teeth grinding, especially at night
Skin issues: hives, eczema, rashes, itchiness
Iron-deficiency anemia or mineral imbalances
Sugar cravings, mood crashes, or “hangry” spells
Fatigue that doesn’t improve with rest
Jaw tension or buzzing in the ears
Vaginal irritation or chronic UTIs
Eye floaters or blurry vision
Sleep disturbances around the full moon
Sexual Dysfunction (both men and women)
Feeling “not fully in your body”
An important note regarding parasite detoxing:
The body speaks through symptoms, gentle at first, then louder when it’s being ignored. Bloodwork and specialty testing help us to further decode what the body already knows: that parasitic and pathogenic exposures often underlie chronic dysfunction. But the order of healing matters.
We always begin with parasites on The Good Medicine Roadmap,(when applicable through lab results) because as they die off, they release mold, metals and other stored toxins into the bloodstream. If we detox mold or metals before addressing parasites, we risk reinfection of those pathogens, exhausting the body and delaying true resolution.
Across cultures and continents, long before parasites were studied in labs or referenced in bloodwork, our ancestors understood them not merely as biological invaders; but as spiritual indicators. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Indigenous healing systems, parasitic infestation has always pointed to something deeper: an imbalance in the field, a fracture in the boundaries, a weakening of the root.
Parasites were understood to take root in stagnant, unguarded, or unsovereign spaces; within the body, but also within the spirit. They thrive where there is dampness, depletion, disconnection, and depletion of vital energy. In Ayurveda, this is called Ama, undigested matter, toxins, and impressions that clog the subtle and physical channels. In Chinese Medicine, it is a combination of Dampness, Qi deficiency, and Heat in the lower burner. In Indigenous frameworks, parasitic presence often appears where ancestral trauma, boundary collapse, or energetic intrusion has occurred; a soul left too open, too depleted, or too burdened to protect its sacred terrain.
From this lens, parasites affect some people more than others not because of exposure alone, but because of terrain. A body filled with grief, sugar, fear, stagnant trauma, or chronic suppression becomes fertile ground. A field left untended becomes vulnerable. This isn’t about blame, it’s about reclaiming your role as guardian of your internal landscape.
The Root and Sacral Chakras are the energetic epicenters of parasitic disruption. These are the centers of safety, boundaries, identity, sexuality, nourishment, and primal belonging. When parasites are present, we often see corresponding patterns: scarcity fear, hypervigilance, dissociation, shame, overgiving, or difficulty holding boundaries. Clearing parasites can therefore catalyze far more than physical relief, it can awaken emotional memory, ancestral trauma, and long-dormant power stored in the lower centers.
This is why detox must be sacred. It’s not just about killing worms. It’s about calling your spirit back into your body, clearing out what has fed on your vitality, and anchoring into a new level of sovereignty. Parasites leave not only when their food is taken away, but when your frequency is no longer a match for their presence.
This is the work we’re doing here. It is both clinical and ceremonial. Functional and mythic. Scientific and spiritual. When we begin this process, we do so with respect, not panic…and with the understanding that your body isn’t broken. It’s just been too generous for too long. And now, we remember how to reclaim what’s yours.
Ancient Wisdom on Parasites:
A Cross- Cultural Remembering
The Vibrational Signature of Parasites
Parasites don’t just live in the gut, they live in the field.
Every organism carries a frequency. Parasites resonate with a specific low-vibrational bandwidth: fear, scarcity, stagnation, addiction, shame, and energetic vulnerability. They are drawn to weakened boundaries, not just in the gut lining, but in the auric field, in relationships, in consciousness. From a frequency perspective, parasites are not just feeding on nutrients; they’re feeding on your light, your life force, your unprocessed pain.
Quantum biology teaches us that the human body is an electrical system, cells, tissues, and organ systems all communicate via voltage and resonance. When the body is coherent, high-frequency, and well-mineralized, it naturally resists parasitic attachment. But when the terrain is burdened by trauma, toxicity, synthetic food, chronic stress, and emotional suppression, the field collapses, and parasitic resonance moves in.
Parasites as Reflectors of Where You’re Leaking Power
They often show up when there are:
Unconscious energy leaks (overgiving, resentment, enmeshment)
Unprocessed trauma loops stored in the sacral and root chakras.
Vows of self-abandonment made to stay safe, loved, or accepted
Grief or fear stored in the nervous system, especially around nourishment, sexuality, or worth
Energetically, parasites are often not the first invasion… they are what come in when something else hasn’t been cleared. They are opportunistic. They arrive when your spiritual firewall is down. And this is why physical protocols alone often fail, because until we clear the vibrational signature that invited them, they will return.
a sACRED iNVITATION
To detox parasites is to confront what you’ve allowed to feed on you.
It is to ask: Where am I leaking? Where have I unconsciously hosted something that does not belong? What part of me believed I had to?
This is shadow work at the somatic level.
This is energy healing disguised as gut cleansing.
This is reclamation of the root; not just the body, but the right to be here. To take up space. To be sovereign in your field.
Supplementation for Parasites- Detox Protocol
Your personalized parasite-clearing protocol will be delivered directly through my online supplement store, calibrated to your unique bio-individual field. While many parasite protocols share foundational elements; herbs, binders, and drainage support…nuance matters. Your terrain, symptoms, history, and current vitality all shape the exact rhythm and ingredients of your protocol. This is not one-size-fits-all work. It’s a precision-based, frequency-aware approach designed to support your body in releasing what no longer belongs; safely, effectively, and in harmony with your system’s needs.
The Four Pillars of Health in Parasite Detox
Nutrition: Feeding the Terrain, Not the Parasites.
One of the main reasons I guide my clients through foundational support and dietary cleanup before beginning parasite detox is to minimize die-off symptoms and optimize results. When the body is nourished, drainage is open, and the liver is primed, the detox process becomes more effective, and far less uncomfortable. A month or two of deep nutritional support, immune priming and liver preparation is the key difference between a seamless, integrated parasite clearing and a miserable, stalled detox filled with Herx reactions. The goal is not just to have the parasites gone; we want your body to feel clear, safe and sovereign as it releases them.
During a parasite detox, what you eat directly influences what stays and what leaves. Parasites thrive on sugar, processed carbohydrates, alcohol, and low-vibrational, nutrient-depleted foods. Clearing them requires a shift toward mineral-rich, whole foods that stabilize blood sugar, support the liver, and rebuild gut integrity. This often includes high-quality protein, cruciferous vegetables, bitter greens, fermented foods (when tolerated), and functional fats.
But nutrition isn’t just about what you cut; it’s about what you honor. Eating with reverence, chewing slowly, and blessing your food all increase vagal tone, digestion, and nutrient absorption. You’re not just feeding your body, you’re signaling your field: “I’m no longer available for invasion. I’m feeding truth.”

Sleep: Your Deepest Detox Portal
Your body does its most profound healing during sleep; especially in the hours between 10 PM and 2 AM, when liver detoxification, glymphatic drainage, and cellular repair are most active. Parasite die-off, especially at night or around the full moon, can disrupt sleep, causing vivid dreams, restlessness, or even nocturnal teeth grinding. This isn’t just “insomnia”; it’s the body alerting you that something is moving.
To support deep sleep during your detox, we focus on sleep hygiene rituals like limiting blue light, using nervous system downregulation techniques before bed, mineral repletion, and supporting melatonin production. Sleep is where your body decides what to keep and what to purge. If you’re not sleeping, you’re not truly detoxing.

Stress Management: Reclaiming the Nervous System
Parasites love a dysregulated nervous system. Chronic stress suppresses immunity, weakens the gut lining, and keeps the body in fight-or-flight; which shuts down digestion and detox. The vagus nerve, lymphatic flow, and elimination pathways all depend on you feeling safe enough to release. This is why breathwork, meditation, somatic tracking, grounding practices, and nervous system co-regulation are essential pillars in any parasite protocol.
Your stress patterns are not just emotional, they are biochemical. Cortisol affects bile flow. Adrenal fatigue alters gut motility. Learning to regulate your inner landscape is one of the most powerful ways to clear parasites and keep them from returning. This is about choosing sovereignty; not just safety.
The Four Pillars of Health in Parasite Detox
Movement: Lymph Flow, Bowel Motility, and Energetic Discharge
The body is designed to move; and when it doesn’t, detox slows down. Parasites and their waste are cleared through bowel movements, sweat, urine, breath, and lymph. Gentle movement supports every one of these systems. Walking, rebounding, sauna sessions, stretching, and fascia-based movement (like yoga or Qi Gong) help open drainage pathways and support elimination.
But movement is also about energetic discharge. Trauma stored in the root and sacral centers often needs to move physically before it can be processed emotionally. Dance, shaking, stomping, or pelvic movement can all support the release of what parasites have co-opted; your right to take up space and move freely.
Weaving it all Together in right relationship
Parasite detox is not just about clearing something foreign; it’s about remembering what belongs. It’s about anchoring deeply into your Root, reclaiming the wisdom of your Sacral, and tending your terrain so completely that your body becomes an ecosystem of clarity, not chaos. This process invites your system to return to coherence: through movement, nourishment, rest, boundaries, and truth.
Every part of this experience is intentional. Your herbs and binders are bio-tailored tools, designed to move with your body, not against it. Your rituals and chakra work are not abstract; they are energetic frameworks that stabilize your nervous system and call your spirit back into its rightful seat. The Four Pillars, nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress regulation are the daily acts that weave the visible and invisible together, bridging function and frequency.
You are not doing this work to survive; you are doing it to reclaim your sovereignty.
To clear what’s been feeding on your light.
To rebuild from the roots.
To inhabit a body that is not just symptom-free, but spiritually intact.
This is sacred work.
You were never meant to carry what was never yours.
Parasites, both physical and energetic, are not reflections of weakness; they are reflections of a body and field that have been too open, too generous, too unguarded for too long. This work is not a punishment. It is not a purification ritual to prove your worth. It is a return, to boundaries, to clarity, to the quiet power that comes from no longer being fed upon.
You do not need to rush.
You do not need to be perfect.
You are already healing, with every breath, every bowel movement, every moment you say no more.
This is your body remembering its borders.
This is your field remembering how to hold.
This is your soul coming back into sacred occupancy.
You are not alone in this clearing.
You are surrounded by lineage, light, and guidance; including mine.
Now close your eyes.
Take a breath.
And begin.
